Hi! My name is Yael Mally. I was in Israel with my family for Sukkot, and I was lucky enough to go to the United Hatzalah benefit concert. While I got to hear some fantastic music and dance with my mom, dad, and brother, I also got to hear an incredible life-saving story told by Eli Beer himself and the Hatzalah volunteers who saved a little boy’s life. They explained that they used a very important – costly – device called a defibrillator. They told us just how much even one of these devices costs, and at that moment, I knew exactly what my Bat Mitzvah project should be.
It is my goal to raise enough money for one ambu-cycle and one defibrillator. We went to this concert before October 7th and it was such a meaningful evening for me. But now, post October 7th, it is even more important that I reach my goal. My family will B”H, match your donations dollar for dollar until I reach my goal, BUT we absolutely need your help to make my dream a reality.

About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
