CAMPAIGNS

We're all in this together.

We did it! Campaign Funded!

Ethan Thurm's Campaign

Join me in raising funds and awareness for United Hatzalah of Israel. I am doing this in honor of my cousin Ezra Schwartz .

Message to sponsors:

18 year old terror victim Ezra Schwartz zk'l was my cousin. He was the coolest, funniest, most caring guy! For his bar mitzvah project, Ezra and his friends from Massachusetts dedicated an ambucycle in 2010. For my Bar Mitzvah I'd like to follow in his large footsteps.

I think that our friends, family, neighbors and classmates can reach this goal!

Please join me in raising funds for lifesaving medical equipment in honor of Ezra. Any amount you give brings us closer to our goal and will help save more lives.

Raqin' the Kitchen Ethan, I'm so sorry for your loss. It's extremely impressive how in such a challenging time you have chosen to inspire people and spread so much positivity. I heard about your initiative at a shiur that I attended last week and was immediately inclined to help. It says in Pirkei Avot that one mitzvah leads to another and I believe that your campaign is a great example of this saying. I recently began baking desserts for Shabbat and selling them, and this week all proceeds were warmly raised for your cause. I hope that you reach your goal extremely soon and admire you taking on such an exceptional initiative. Thank you and mazal tov on your Bar Mitzvah
Vicky K
Dear Ethan, I hope you reach beyond your goal. At a time when you are going through so much, it's amazing that you are focusing on something so holy and thinking of a way to help others in Ezra memory. Although I didn't know Ezra personally, he has touced the hearts of the world at large and we share in missing him. I know that no words are adequate and healing but please know that we, all of klal yisrael, love Ezra and are praying for you and your family to find some comfort in that. All the best, Vicky Krief

Hey Ethan, I'm so sorry for your loss. Especially because you're dealing with such pain, it is very impressive and inspiring that you're raising money in memory of Ezra and with the purpose of helping save more lives. There are six guys who live in our house in Givat Shmuel, and we were all in yeshiva for a year, just like Ezra. Today, we had a shiur with sixty people, and before we started, I announced your initiative, and we raised a small amount, but I hope it will help. A girl came up to me after, and wants to donate proceeds from her baking sales to your initiative, so expect another donation next week. Even in the face of such tragedy, I hope you have a great bar mitzva, and succeed in reaching your goal. You are an inspiration for a lot of people over here. Thank you.
