Become a Volunteer medic
Join one of our 95 branches throughout Israel and help save lives by being first on the scene in an emergency.

United Hatzalah’s strength is in our network of 8,600 selfless volunteers, including EMTs, paramedics and doctors.
Before becoming an official United Hatzalah EMT, volunteers must complete an 180-hour course, 100 training calls and rigorous testing. Always on call, volunteers carry their gear everywhere and are ready to leave work, school or family at a moment’s notice to provide lifesaving aid.
Our volunteers come from all faiths and backgrounds—Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Druze, Bedouin, both secular and religious. They are united by a shared mission to save lives.
