Mission
United Hatzalah is a volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization committed to providing immediate response to medical emergencies across Israel (and often, our volunteers are first on the scene before ambulances arrive). The service is community based and completely free of charge for everyone in Israel.
At United Hatzalah Canada, our mission is to raise vital funds and build awareness to support the incredible work of the more than 8,000 volunteer medics who respond to emergencies in less than three minutes anywhere in Israel.
We work passionately to engage communities, share stories of impact and inspire giving through events, educational initiatives and grassroots campaigns. We believe deeply in the Jewish value of Tikun Olam—repairing the world—and see every life saved as a reflection of that sacred responsibility.
