We believe that by supporting the families of our volunteers, we are in essence supporting the volunteers themselves.
About
Families First is a program aimed at providing the spouses of EMS volunteers with a social network in which they can find camaraderie and support, and share stories and struggles with fellow spouses of EMS volunteers. Although volunteers themselves have regular support groups in their cities/branches all across Israel, United Hatzalah realizes that behind (almost) every volunteer there is someone supporting his/her work and taking care of things back at home.
Families First holds a grand get-together for the spouses of volunteers in each of the 95 branches of United Hatzalah at least once a year. We believe that by supporting the families of our volunteers, we are in essence supporting the volunteers themselves.
