Staff Sgt. Malachi Yehuda Harari fell in combat in Gaza several months ago. His father Tal, who serves as a volunteer EMT with United Hatzalah, was honored at a special appreciation event for local volunteers.
Initially, the plan was to present Tal with a defibrillator donated in his son’s memory. However, when United Hatzalah President and Founder Eli Beer learned of the occasion, he decided to do more: he secured a significant donation to provide Tal with a new ambucycle in addition to the defibrillator, which Tal can now use in his lifesaving work.

Deeply moved by this gesture, Tal expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to save lives using equipment dedicated to his dear son’s memory – a fitting tribute to Malachi Yehuda’s ultimate sacrifice for Israel’s security.
“Upon hearing this story, I knew immediately we had to commemorate Malachi Yehuda’s memory in the most meaningful way possible,” said Beer. “There is no better way to commemorate such a special person who gave his life protecting the State of Israel than a vehicle dedicated to saving lives. Our hearts are with Tal and his family, and we pray they never know such sorrow again.”
