United Hatzalah will acquire 100 new ambulances from Portuguese supplier Auto Ribeiro, significantly expanding the organization’s emergency response capabilities nationwide.
Management representatives from the Portuguese ambulance supplier completed a rapid 24-hour visit to Israel, during which the strategic agreement to acquire the ambulances was finalized and signed.

Auto Ribeiro representatives received a comprehensive overview of United Hatzalah’s extensive operations during their visit. They toured the organization’s national headquarters in Jerusalem, received detailed briefings on its life-saving activities, and conducted site inspections of the operational command center, where they observed the organization’s coordination capabilities and rapid response systems.
The visit concluded with a formal signing ceremony for the 100-ambulance procurement agreement, which will serve to preserve the lives of Israeli citizens.

Eli Beer, President and Founder of United Hatzalah, said, “We welcome the important visit of Auto Ribeiro management to Israel and the strengthening of our productive cooperation. The acquisition of 100 new ambulances represents another significant step in improving United Hatzalah’s response capabilities nationwide. These ambulances will join our emergency vehicle fleet and enable our dedicated volunteers to provide even more rapid, professional, and efficient responses for life-saving purposes at any time and in any location.”
Professor Ehud Davidson, CEO of United Hatzalah, said, “These new ambulances, each equipped with advanced technologies, will enable us to reach every call more rapidly and provide optimal life-saving medical treatment in the field. This represents an important component in expanding our deployment and our capability to respond to any emergency incident, from north to south.”
