Our volunteers had the privilege of participating in a special event organized by the IDF Widows and Orphans Organization (IDFWO) to bring joy to the families of fallen IDF soldiers.
Volunteers from across the country came together to create an interactive experience for the children, letting them explore our emergency response vehicles and engage with rescue drones in a fun, hands-on way.
The event was made even more memorable by members of United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma Unit, who brought therapy dogs for the children to play with. Our volunteers described the day as both deeply moving and meaningful.
This collaboration comes after last month’s partnership between United Hatzalah and IDFWO, launching a collaborative effort to integrate members of the IDFWO into our IMAH Initiative, a specialized program that provides professional medical training and empowers widows with emergency medical response skills.
