We are a community-based volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization committed to providing the fastest response to medical emergencies across Israel even prior to the arrival of ambulances and completely free of charge.
United Hatzalah’s strength is in its 6,500 selfless volunteers. These include emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, and doctors, who are on call 24/7/365 – even on Yom Kippur!

By combining a network of more than 6,500 volunteers, with the most advanced technology, and a fleet of emergency medical vehicles, we are able to respond to more than 2,000 medical emergencies per day in an average response time of less than three minutes, and in major cities, often less than 90 seconds.
